He also called for efforts to foster more practical exchanges with the Commonwealth-ASEAN Trade and Investment Council, with a view to establishing new platforms for deepening international cooperation among young entrepreneurs.
Ambigapathy noted efforts made by the Commonwealth Youth Innovation Centre to play an active role of youth in promoting social development, and to adjust its strategic layout in recent years, with an intensifying focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
The Commonwealth Youth Innovation Centre highly values its cooperative relationship with the CIYEC, stands ready to expand the scope of bilateral cooperation on the current basis, jointly respond to uncertainties and challenges, and inject youthful energy into global development, he said.
