Established in 2004, China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) consists of China-Japan Youth Exchange Center (founded in 1985) and China Youth International Talent Exchange Center (founded in 1993). It is also the functional organization for international youth exchange and cooperation of CYLC Central Committee and All-China Youth Federation.

CIYEC is located in the third Beijing embassy area, with gross floor area of 190,000 square meters, has set up 20 departments involving international exchange, production management, functional services and logistic support.

With about 400 employees, it comprises the 21st Century Hotel, the 21st Century Building, Century Theatre, Silver Olive Sports World, International Conference Hall, Vocational Facilities and Qinhuangdao Subsidiary Office.

CIYEC is committed to promoting mutual understanding and practical cooperation between Chinese and foreign youth, it receives 100 foreign delegations per year on average. It associates with young people from all over the world, covering areas of politics, economy, culture, education, science and technology, environmental protection and innovation, and strives to provide youth power for building a community with a shared future for mankind.
