More than 30 international students from the United States, Canada, Russia, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, Spain, Angola and Italy attended the event to experience traditional Chinese costumes and foster cultural exchange. Participants engaged in discussions, shared insights and learnt from each other.

The event featured a presentation on the clothing culture of the Qin Dynasty (221-206BC), allowing participants to experience the historical garments that embody grace, elegance and fluidity. They were fascinated by the clothes and the cultural significance embedded in each piece. Through learning the evolution of Qin Dynasty clothing styles, they gained insights into the diverse lifestyles across various regions and social classes of ancient China, as well as the cultural exchanges among different ethnic groups that have shaped Chinese clothing culture.
