CIYEC, Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Sign Cooperation Framework Agreement

The 23rd China-Vietnam Youth Friendship Meeting, themed "Carrying Forward Traditional Friendship, Creating the Future Together", took place in Nanning, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on Oct 14.

A Dong, First Secretary of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of China’s Communist Youth League; Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam; and Liu Ning, Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional People’s Congress, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

Liu Aiping, Chairwoman of the Governing Council of the China International Youth Exchange Center, and Nguyen Doan Thang, Vice President and General-Secretary of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, signed a cooperation framework agreement at the ceremony.

Under the framework, the two sides will jointly carry out exchange visits between young entrepreneurs, further strengthen multilateral collaboration, and guide young entrepreneurs from both countries to actively engage in practical cooperation under mechanisms such as the China-ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Forum and the Lancang-Mekong Young Entrepreneurs Forum. They will also work to build a China-Vietnam community with a shared future of strategic significance and contribute to regional prosperity and development by harnessing the strength of youth.

The China International Youth Exchange Center and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association sign a cooperation framework agreement at the opening ceremony of the 23rd China-Vietnam Youth Friendship Meeting.

The China-Vietnam Youth Friendship Meeting is a flagship project for youth exchanges between the two countries. In December last year, the two countries issued a joint statement on further deepening and elevating the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and building a China-Vietnam community with a shared future of strategic significance, which emphasized the importance of successfully hosting the China-Vietnam Youth Friendship Meeting.
