Delegation of Korea International Cultural Exchange Center Visits CIYEC
Zhu Haowei, Deputy Director of the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC), met with a delegation from the Korea International Cultural Exchange Center (KICEC) on April 1.
Zhu extended warm welcome to the delegation and gave positive response to youth exchange activities jointly carried out by the two sides over the years.
Noting that the KICEC is an important cooperation partner of the CIYEC, Zhu expressed the hope that the two sides will further deepen cooperation in jointly establishing institutionalized and branded exchange projects in green development, climate change, and culture and arts, so as to enhance understanding and friendship between youths from China and South Korea.
The youths are the future of the two countries, said Kim In-kyu, Counsellor of the KICEC and President-designate of the 27th National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea, expressing his hope that the two sides would strengthen cooperation to enhance understanding and mutual trust.
Song Ki-chul, President of the KICEC, said that with good foundation for cooperation, the two sides will continuously expand the fields of cooperation, enrich topics of communication, and actively provide cooperation platform for practical youth communication.
The head of the Public Service and Cooperation Department of the CIYEC also attended the meeting. During their stay in Beijing, the delegation also visited the All-China Youth Federation and the China Center for International Economic Exchanges.
