Zhang Hua, Director of the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC), met with a delegation of 34 members from the Junior Chamber International Hong Kong (JCI Hong Kong) on March 29.

Zhang extended warm welcome to the delegation and gave positive response to the efforts made by JCI Hong Kong in promoting communication and cooperation between the two sides.

Noting that Hong Kong is an important gateway connecting the Chinese mainland and the rest of the world, Zhang expressed the hope that JCI Hong Kong could leverage its advantages in presenting a true, multi-dimensional and panoramic view of China to the world, and actively promote the accelerated development of new quality productive forces.

In their remarks, heads of the delegation, including Eric Tang, Anthony Leung and Evan Leung, thanked the CIYEC for its support during their visit, and expressed appreciation for the CIYEC’s efforts in promoting communication and cooperation among international young entrepreneurs.

They expressed their desire to maintain close cooperation with the CIYEC, continuously strengthening practical cooperation by following the drive of promoting high-quality economic development.

The delegation visited the Beijing Daxing International Airport, the Comprehensive Exhibition Center of Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone, the Innovation Service Center of the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and the Beijing Cell Therapy Group Co., Ltd..

Representatives from the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and National Academy of Governance, as well as head of the Economical Cooperation Department of the CIYEC also attended the meeting.
