On Oct 16, Zhang Hua, Director of the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC), met with Tan Monivann, Vice-Chairman of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, who came to China at the invitation of the All-China Youth Federation to attend a seminar for Cambodian youth leaders.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on further deepening cooperation between Chinese and Cambodian young entrepreneurs.

Zhang welcomed Monivann’s visit and briefed him about the CIYEC. Noting that the China-Cambodia relations are undergoing sound development, he said that communication between young entrepreneurs from the two countries has made steady progress, which in turn has become an exemplary model for practical cooperation among China-ASEAN youth. He said the CIYEC is willing to work with the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce to deepen mutual support and cooperation and promote the building of a China-Cambodia community with a shared future.

Monivann applauded the CIYEC’s cooperation with Cambodia. He said that the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce will maintain close communication with the CIYEC, deepen cooperation in such areas as production capacity, trade and investment, modern agriculture and infrastructure construction, in order to build a platform for common development of young entrepreneurs from both countries, and to contribute to the development of Cambodia-China relations.

Head of the Economical Cooperation Department of the CIYEC also attended the meeting.
