UIBE-ISRAEL Students Visit CIYEC
A delegation of 23 students from the University of International Business and Economics-ISRAEL (UIBE-ISRAEL), China International University in Israel, visited the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) on Aug 11.
The Israeli students toured the Century Theatre and the Silver Olive Sports World, and got hands-on experience of making dumplings at the friendship kitchen, where they not only enjoyed the Chinese delicacies but also gained a deeper understanding of Chinese history and cuisine.
Chen Peng, Deputy Director of the CIYEC, briefed the students on the CIYEC, and highlighted such platforms as the International Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs Associations and the International Cooperation and Development Conference for Young Entrepreneurs, both established by the CIYEC focusing on trade and economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges among the youth.
Chen expressed hope that the students would tell their friends about China upon their return, serve as a bridge to promote communication and cooperation between Chinese and Israeli youth, and achieve common development through mutual learning and exchange.
The heads of the International Students Department and the Vocational Education Department of the CIYEC attended the event.
