Zhang Hua, Director of the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC), met with a delegation led by Kawabata Katsuya, Corporate Executive and Chief Representative in China of the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, on Aug 8.

Noting that the CIYEC and Mitsubishi have carried out youth exchange projects focusing on green development and ecological protection in recent years, Zhang said that the two sides should continuously expand exchanges, improve cooperation in economy and trade, environmental protection and people-to-people exchanges to promote communication with concrete actions.

Katsuya, also Chairman and President of Mitsubishi Electric (China) Co., Ltd., said that youth exchange projects are going smoothly with the joint effort of Mitsubishi and the CIYEC. They have been receiving good social response and achieving expected outcomes. He added that the corporation is willing to leverage its advantages in green development, smart manufacturing and robot development, to infuse new connotation to exchanges and cooperation and realize the sound development of the cooperation between the two sides.

Chen Peng, Deputy Director of the CIYEC, and the head of the CIYEC’s Public Service and Cooperation Department also attended the meeting.
