CIYEC Holds 7th Liangma Silk Road International Forum
The seventh Liangma Silk Road International Forum, hosted by the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) and co-organized by KPMG Huazhen LLP, was held on July 27 in Beijing.
Mark Harrison, Transaction Services Partner of KPMG Huazhen LLP, and Zhang Liguo, its Human Resources Partner, gave lectures on the theme of new paths for enterprise transformation and upgrading from different perspectives.
Harrison emphasized the importance of enterprise transformation and upgrading and internationalization strategy. He said he believes that entrepreneurs should have a global strategic thinking and international perspective, seize the historic opportunities brought about by the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, continuously cultivate core competitiveness, and empower enterprise transformation and upgrading through technological innovation.
Noting that the Chinese economy is continuously rebounding and has tremendous potential for future growth, he expressed the hope to closely cooperate with the CIYEC to provide strong support for the development of enterprises.
Zhang introduced methods and strategies for enterprise transformation from such aspects as marketing strategy, resource allocation, research and development strategy, and talent strategy, providing new ideas for solving the difficulties and pain points arising from enterprise transformation.
Participants also had exchanges on current international economic situation, risks of overseas investments by enterprises, key account management strategies, and industry chain cooperation.
Jia Tiesong, Deputy Director of the CIYEC, presided over the event, which was attended by about 50 young entrepreneur representatives.
