Zhang Hua, Director of the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC), met with a delegation led by Netanel Vaknin and Gong Jiong, vice-principals of the University of International Business and Economics-ISRAEL (UIBE-ISRAEL), China International University in Israel, on July 20.

Noting that innovation and cooperation is a booster for deepening youth exchanges between China and Israel, Zhang said that the CIYEC is willing to work closely with the UIBE-ISRAEL and expand the channels for exchanges between young innovative talents from the two countries, further enhancing exchanges and cooperation in such fields as modern agriculture, biomedicine, environmental protection technology, and green energy.

Vaknin said that Chinese and Israeli youth share same innovative spirit, and there are broad prospects for cooperation between the two sides in such areas as scientific and technological innovation, as well as economy and trade. The UIBE-ISRAEL is willing to leverage its own advantages to provide a platform for youth entrepreneur exchange and innovative talent cultivation.

The heads of the International Training Department and the Economical Cooperation Department of the CIYEC also attended the meeting.
