Zhang Hua, Director of the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC), met with a delegation from Yale University led by Fawn Wang, Chief Advisor of Office of International Affairs, former assistant secretary and Director for East Asia of Yale University, on May 12.

The two sides reviewed their 16 years of cooperation and agreed that promoting China-US youth exchanges helps enhance understanding and mutual trust. Exchange activities, in particular, activities such as the visit of a delegation of 100 Yale students, faculty and administrators to China, highlighted the unique historical value and profound significance of such interaction. 

The two sides also agreed that it is necessary to maintain communication and actively promote exchanges and cooperation.

Joyce Wang, Deputy Director of the Yale Center Beijing, and Wang Lu, Director of the Administration Office of the CIYEC, also attended the meeting.
