The China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) held a media briefing on April 19 in Beijing for the International Cooperation and Development Conference for Young Entrepreneurs.
Jia Tiesong, Deputy Director of the CIYEC, and heads of the preparatory team briefed on the conference's background and agenda, as well as the preparations for establishing the International Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs Associations (IAYEA).
They also answered journalists' questions on the expected outcomes of the conference and how the IAYEA will promote exchanges between young entrepreneurs from China and abroad, and better support the Belt and Road cooperation and the open world economy.
Organized by the CIYEC, the conference will be held from April 25 to 26 in Beijing. It is co-organized by the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization, the China Chamber of International Commerce Belt and Road Commission, the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council, the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council, and the China Young Entrepreneurs Association.
The main agenda includes an opening ceremony, a main forum on the global economic recovery, and two parallel forums-the “Liangma International Dialogue” and the “ASEAN +3 (China, Japan and South Korea) Young Entrepreneurs Dialogue”. Nearly 200 representatives of young entrepreneurs as well as heads of commerce chambers and entrepreneur associations from 50 countries are expected to attend the conference, where they will discuss new paths for post-pandemic global economic recovery.
