CIYEC Director Meets with FCAFA VP in Beijing
Zhang Hua, Director of the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC), held a meeting in Beijing on Feb 10 with Diarra Boubacar, Vice-President of the Federation of China-Africa Friendship Association (FCAFA), discussing the exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and African youths.
Zhang conveyed thanks to the FCAFA for its support in expanding the CIYEC's cooperative channels. He said that this year is the 10th anniversary of the announcement of advancing the country's Africa policy — sincerity, real results, amity and good faith, and pursuing the greater good and shared interests — and that there is a bright future for bilateral cooperation in the building of a community of shared future.
Zhang called on the two sides to further deepen bilateral cooperation, strengthen their exchanges, nurture new cooperative areas and promote the high-quality development of the cooperation between Chinese and African youths.
Boubacar introduced the FCAFA and spoke highly of the CIYEC's efforts in building a bridge for the pragmatic cooperation between Chinese and foreign youths. He said the FCAFA has attached great importance to the exchanges with Chinese youths and is looking forward to joining hands with the CIYEC in making full use of their separate functions in promoting global economic recovery.
Those in attendance of the meeting included Khalifa A. SyDiop, Secretary-Generalof the FCAFA's department of foreign affairs.
