CIYEC, KCI China Explore Business Cooperation in Sci-tech Innovation
Kim Jong-moon, Director of the Korea Innovation Center in China (KIC China), visited the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) on July 14. He said that the CIYEC has established a close partnership with KIC China in recent years, and that the two sides have jointly launched a variety of exchanges in scientific and technological innovation, working together to promote China-ROK industrial cooperation.
Kim said that it is a non-profit organization under the ROK's Ministry of Science involving ICT (information and communications technology) that focuses on supporting South Korean start-ups in China. He noted that KIC China has maintained a solid cooperative relationship with CIYEC, adding that ROK-China economic cooperation has led the way to mutual benefits so that the industrial and supply chains of the two countries are now closely linked.
