Liu Chao, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), visited the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) on July 22, and discussed further cooperation with the center's leaders.

CIYEC Party Secretary Wang Yijun briefed Liu on the center. He said that the center is committed to enhancing the youth exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries, and to cultivating young talents for building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Wang said that the economic and social uncertainties have shown a significant upward trend amid the once-in-a-century pandemic and the profound changes to the geopolitical landscape unseen in many years, adding that the CIYEC has more work to do in the current situation.

He said he hoped that the two sides will work together to help young entrepreneurs improve their compliance management level of cross-border business and also enhance their risk prevention capability.

Liu introduced the basic situation of the ICDPASO since its establishment. He said that as an international non-governmental organization it aims to protect the legitimate rights and interests of parties concerned, create a high-quality, legalized, international and convenient business environment, and promote a rules-based international economic order.

Hailing the CIYEC's hard work in the training of young entrepreneurs, Liu said that he hoped that CIYEC and ICDPASO will join hands to contribute to international business development by giving full play to their strengths.

Zhang Hua, Deputy Director of CIYEC, also attended the meeting. He showed Liu around the center's facilities such as the International Youth University, the Twenty-first Century Hotel, the Century Theatre, and the Sliver Olive Sports World.
