CIYEC Conducts Drill on Prevention and Control of Disease Outbreaks
The China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) organized an emergency drill on February 2 to enhance its response capabilities concerning emergent public health events (pandemics/disease outbreaks). The drill was also intended to help its employees familiarize themselves with the center's contingency plans and emergency rescue measures.
Leaders, department heads and coordinators for disease control and prevention participated in the exercise.
On Feb 2, CIYEC officers simulate the evacuation procedure in the event of an emergency.
Before the emergency drill, Wang Yijun, Party Secretary of CIYEC made comments on the exercise, which was held at the center's office building, the 21st Century Hotel, the Century Theatre and the Silver Olive Sports World. He also supervised the entire drill.
The exercise covered situations involving abnormal health QR codes and high body temperatures. It focused on on-site organization and coordination, registration and reporting, the transfer and disinfection of affected people and isolation of the incident site, as well as first-aid measures.
Hao Xianghong, Director of CIYEC, summarized the results and problems exposed during the drill, requiring all the staff to strictly implement the anti-pandemic instructions of superior authorities and to ensure the center's safe operation.
