CIYEC's First IPS for Int'l Young Entrepreneurs Concludes in Beijing
Young entrepreneurs across the country participate in the International Public Procurement Seminar held in the CIYEC from Nov 12 to 13, 2020.
The International Public Procurement Seminar (IPS) successfully concluded on Nov 13 in Beijing. It was the first professional training held by the International Young Entrepreneurs Club, and it was co-organized by the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) and the China Young Entrepreneurs Association (CYEA).
The two-day training course, attended by 50 young entrepreneurs from all over the country, provided participants with a detailed analysis of processes applicable to all public procurement categories, including tools for assessing public procurement systems and processes and specifications for international bidding. These tools will help companies to improve their comprehensive abilities in global business activities.
The club has emphasized international public procurement to help enterprises integrate into the global market and expand channels to make the best of domestic and overseas markets. It has also helped the country foster a new development paradigm – the domestic market as the mainstay and the domestic and international markets reinforcing each other.

The seminar explored the key themes of international public procurement, such as market conditions and access, data analysis of Chinese suppliers and practical operation of the United Nations' bidding and tendering process. It also gave detailed explanations and professional guidance, developing a complete and clear understanding of the UN and international public procurement.
In the current situation, enterprises are in urgent need of such professional skills training, said students. Participation in international public procurement is conducive for enterprises to break the traditional sales bottleneck and explore the direction of innovative development, which will bring them new development opportunities and improve their product quality and international competitiveness.
