Beijing Forum Zeroes in on Youth Entrepreneurship of China, South Korea
The 2nd China-ROK Youth Entrepreneurship Forum, jointly hosted by the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) and Suwon city, South Korea, kicked off at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) on September 20, 2018 in a bid to encourage youth innovation and entrepreneurship in both countries and boost youth power in economic development.
The forum, held on a regular basis, aims to offer an opportunity for China-ROK youth to learn from each other and seek common development through sharing experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, and to help young entrepreneurs chart a course of self-development.
"The forum has built an important platform for the youth of China and South Korea to enhance mutual understanding and deepen friendship, and will promote friendly cooperation between China and ROK youth in economic and cultural fields," the South Korean official said.
During the event, outstanding young entrepreneurs from China gave lectures on entrepreneurship in the education industry in the IT era and transnational business cooperation, and shared their start-up experience and stories. Youth representatives from China and South Korea were divided into groups to discuss issues of shared concern and the direction of their future development.
